Resume
Liberty Classical Schools
Marketing Manager
June 2022 - February 2026
Atlanta, GA
After establishing the communications department at Atlanta Classical and driving multi-channel marketing efforts for the opening of Northwest Classical, I joined the newly-formed Liberty Classical Schools organization. LCS would serve as the “school district” for ACA and NCA, as well as new schools that would be launched under the LCS umbrella.
I created and established the LCS brand. During the first year, this included a professionally-designed WordPress site and a comprehensive branding guide in partnership with Classic City Consulting, as well as a suite of print marketing materials. I launched LCS social media accounts, which today have 4.3k followers on Instagram and 2.7k followers on Facebook.
In addition to designing and implementing all of Liberty’s marketing efforts, I held a consulting position on the communications team at each partner school, which grew from 2 to 3 during my time there. I led media relations and designed graphics, web, print, and branded assets for each partner school. A few things I have done for the schools that I am particularly proud of are:
ACA 10th anniversary feature in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Mascot and school spirit branding and design development for NCA
Print and digital viewbook created for the ACA capital campaign — this piece was presented to high-level donors and contributed to ACA reaching 40% of their total goal in the first 6 months of the campaign
Atlanta Classical Academy
Communications Manager
September 2019 - June 2022
Atlanta, GA
Atlanta Classical Academy (ACA) is a classical charter school located in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta. I joined ACA in its 6th year as its first Communications Manager; before I joined the organization, my job was done by a committee of nine parent volunteers.
My first major project as Communications Manager was to oversee the final stages of a major website redesign. After the redesign, I oversaw and executed all website maintenance, content creation, site organization, and UX design. I also regularly worked with our external developer to make backend updates as I saw fit.
I developed and designed all of the school’s front-facing collateral, including items related to enrollment marketing, faculty and staff recruitment, athletics, advancement, athletics, fine arts, and all school events. I managed all school-wide communications to parents and families. This involved developing communications plans for individual departments as well as the organization as a whole. I oversaw parent volunteers who created the weekly announcement newsletter. I also created the monthly partner newsletter for school families and community members. Managing school communications also required list management for various audiences through MailChimp.
I created and implemented social media strategies for all of ACA’s channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn.) When I started at ACA, the school’s Instagram had around 300 followers. I grew the follower count by nearly 1000 in just under a year.
In the fall of 2020, Atlanta Classical Academy acquired a school building in Kennesaw, GA and announced their plans for a K-6 sister school, set to open its doors to over 500 students in August 2021.
As a member of the Northwest Classical Academy (NCA) outreach team, I developed brand standards and created the school’s logo based on the Atlanta Classical logo. I created all enrollment marketing materials, assisted in PR efforts in the area, helped to organize and execute Preview Days for prospective families, assisted in both organic and paid social media strategy, and built the NCA website in Squarespace.

I designed postcards, a family activity guide that every visitor received upon visiting, reports for museum board meetings, the quarterly member magazine, and other brochures and flyers that are offered to museum guests.
